Prosecutor Hwang Si-mok who, as a child, lost the ability to feel empathy joins a police lieutenant to try to uncover the true identity of a serial killer. While looking into the case, he must fight rampant corruption within the police department that continuously undermines the investigation. Si-mok vows to find the perpetrator within two months, but rumors about his violent nature pop up and lead to questions about his ability to lead the case. He eventually sets out to meet the person who he believes is the real murderer.

Alicia and I started on our international series of foreign films and TV series.  This episode we got really excited by another Netflix exclusive mini series released in December 2017.  Another twist on the serial Killer genre that tells the story about a french female serial killer.   This female serial killer, nicknamed 'La Mante' decides to collaborate with the police when a string of murders that copycat her style suddenly appear. But she has some extraordinary conditions she request in order to help.  One being her son the police officer

Dark (Netflix) subtitled

Alicia and I fall head first in this twisted but enjoyable supernatural time traveling TV series from Netflix.  This German saga tells the story of three different eras that effects four different family unbeknownst of their history and relationship to each other over the last 66 years.

When two children go missing in a small German town, its sinful past is exposed along with the double lives and fractured relationships that exist among four families as they search for the kids. The mystery-drama series introduces an intricate puzzle filled with twists that includes a web of curious characters, all of whom have a connection to the town's troubled history -- whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that tie back to the same town in 1986. "Dark" represents the first German original series produced for Netflix

​Today we review the amazing Isabelle Huppert play one of her greatest roles in the movie Elle.  The twist and deceptionin this movie is extraordinary and we go over them with more than  just a little enthusiasm.  Pretty good podcast to listen to.
