We took a few weeks off but get back into the issues just in time to run into topics such as pardons, entertainers going the Hell off, immigration and back to the NFL BS.  The team jumps right in and give out their unrehearsed, unsolicited candid opinions.

Jessica Jones (Marvel) Neflix season 1 and 2

Being a Marvel fan, and reading some of the later versions of the Marvel comics.  I ran into the Alias series that jumped into realistic problems people go through but just happen to be super powered individuals.   The Alias series centers on the emotionally battered Jessica Jones which Netflix saw some value to make it a series. Here is my take on season 1 and 2 and a little of the Defenders series.

   

 

This Netflix original chronicles the life of one of the darker Marvel characters, the mysterious Jessica Jones. When a tragedy puts an end to her short-lived career as a superhero, Jessica settles in New York City and opens her own detective agency, called Alias Investigations, which seems to be called into cases involving people who have special abilities. Suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, Jessica wants to do good, but her primary interest isn't in saving the world, it's saving her apartment and getting through each day. Based on a graphic novel intended for adults, this is not a superhero story for the kids

Foreign Policy and whats headed our way in politics

As we roll in to a slow week (relatively speaking) Looking at the foreign policy around the world, our administration has not done anything to engage the world and stabilize the threats in Korea,, Syria, Afghanistan, China, Russia, Israel and our Allies.  A quick talk about the Cohen investigation and what the future will look like under Pence or Trump getting away and running again.

          

J. Cole K.O.D new release

 We were so surprised with the new release of the new J. Cole release K.O.D.  First that it came out with no pre-release fanfare,  And with this different style he choose on this release, we hold our breath and break these tracks down to see if this is another J Cole masterpiece.

   

KOD is the fifth studio album by American rapper J. Cole. It was released on April 20, 2018 through Dreamville Records, Roc Nation and Interscope Records.

New JCole release review: 4 your eyes only (2016)

4 Your Eyes Only plunges deep into J. Cole's soul.  You can clearly hear it in his voice - pleading testifying, on the verge of cracking.  At Center stage with no featured guest, The North Carolina rapper speaks out on social ills, black lives and doing the right thing in a world of wrong.

We plunge into this amazing artist with a old hip hop head and a Generation X perspective.  Sean and I give props to a hip hop artist with a CD well made We revisit this because of the new release of the new K.O.D

Controversy over WHCD and addressing Trumps accomplishments

The Team talks about this years White house correspondence dinner.  Michelle Wolf kills and everyone is up in arms about her comments.  Especially the comments about Sarah Huckerbee Sanders.  We also discuss a conversation I had with a conservative about Trumps accomplishments.  I also get to play a villain this week.  Role playing as a Trump supporting conservative.

On this episode, Chaz takes us down his path and obstacles to get to his point in his life currently.  He takes us through the process and transition from employed to unemployed to being employed again.  A great Segway to starting our series of millennials that went through different hardships during their younger years to get to a point in their life to make a decision about their future. This review I delve into the psychological and abstract movies that takes a little more than watching and knowing what the plot, ending and story is all about.  This one is the killing of a sacred deer. A Yorgos Lanthimos movie that is so interesting the way it speaks to revenge, sacrifice and responsibility.  

 

Dr. Steven Murphy is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon who presides over a spotless household with his wife and two children. Lurking at the margins of his idyllic suburban existence is Martin, a fatherless teen who insinuates himself into the doctor's life in gradually unsettling ways. Soon, the full scope of Martin's intent becomes menacingly clear when he confronts Steven with a long-forgotten transgression that will shatter his domestic bliss forever.
