This time Alicia and I amp dead into season 3, yes we saw season 2. We enjoyed it to the extent that we had to wait until the whole 8 episode was over so we could binge watch the whole thing. This was a different presentation than the other two but worth watching as a fan
During World War I, two British soldiers -- Lance Cpl. Schofield and Lance Cpl. Blake -- receive seemingly impossible orders. Being a long time fan of Noomi Rapace from the “Girl with the dragon Tattoo” series (Millennial series) This movie about her being a female body guard was pretty interesting to me. How this bodyguard had to take care of an heiress that has just inherited control over her fathers million dollar business. British movie but something on my list
I’ve been a fan of James Blake for years. With his odd sound but soothing voice that went with so much but not quite with anything. He made you listen for different reasons and some how you would hear him sprinkled in with some hip hop folks. His dark brooding sound that was heard for years could have been a precursor to the young depressed sound you some times hear today. But this new release has a tone that’s unfamiliar but quite refreshing. This is the evolution of James Blake with a touch of his hip hop buddies help.
This very interesting movie made by the Director: Yorgos Lanthimos with his two odd movies The Lobster and The Killing of a Sacred Deer Has created this piece period about a frail Queen who needs assistance from her close friend to help her govern the nation but gets interrupted with a new addition to their relationship. A former aristocrat who is the cousin of the Queens friend, who moves in to become the favorite to the Queen. Then all hell breaks out
In the early 18th century, England is at war with the French. Nevertheless, duck racing and pineapple eating are thriving. A frail Queen Anne occupies the throne, and her close friend, Lady Sarah, governs the country in her stead, while tending to Anne's ill health and mercurial temper. When a new servant, Abigail, arrives, her charm endears her to Sarah. Sarah takes Abigail under her wing, and Abigail sees a chance to return to her aristocratic roots
Alicia and I wanted to see this movie because we remember from our childhood watching Mary Poppins over and over. Black children watching a British nanny take care of the children of an affluent family was a fantasy but enjoyable. Even though Dick Van Dyke did semi put on black face (JS) The musical never left our memory so we anted to see the new version this movie. Honestly not expecting much but expecting not to be disappointed.
Now an adult with three children, bank teller Michael Banks learns that his house will be repossessed in five days unless he can pay back a loan. His only hope is to find a missing certificate that shows proof of valuable shares that his father left him years earlier. Just as all seems lost, Michael and his sister receive the surprise of a lifetime when Mary Poppins -- the beloved nanny from their childhood -- arrives to save the day and take the Banks family on a magical, fun-filled adventure.
Alicia and I finally get to see the sequel to the Fantastic beast series by JK Rowling. We highly enjoyed the first movie so we were looking forward to the sequel. Heavy with Star power our expectations were high for this one as well.
As big fans of the mission impossible series. We always go see the maniacal Tom Cruise and what ridiculous stunts he will do in any of his movies. Seeing the previews to this Alicia and I was sooo excited to see this movie just like it was a Marvel movie. And with J.J Abrams being executive producer, We knew it would be a big blockbuster

Today I speak with my wife Alicia Carr that has be traveling the world speaking about Women in technology as well as diversity and her journey in becoming a coder at 51 years old. I sit her down to talk about her latest experience as well as how she is getting her message out to people around the world. Also her latest trip is in London England where I joined her to do a keynote at the BCS chartered institute for IT.
My Mission (Alicia Carr)
One of my life’s goal and mission is to EMPOWER women. I have learned that we are the same with our struggles and I don’t want to see color. I see women, and women all over the world are going through problems they shouldn’t have to whether its in tech or through life. I also see, as people, as women, we are one. When women struggle, we all struggle.
