We flip from the basics politics of the day and talk about one of E’s favorite activity. Sports. So much of our everyday social and professional life circles around sports that we wanted to have a segment on it. We talk about school safety and the rent and mortgage moratorium.

I,Tonya

Alicia and I was surprised by the attention this movie was getting and went to see this indie mockumentary about the Life of Tonya Harding.  We find a you girl in the middle of a class struggle, an abusive family  environment, and a failed marriage that made Tonya who she was at that time. Very interesting take on the situation. i_tonya.jpg

I, Tonya is a 2017 American biographical black comedy film directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Steven Rogers. The film follows the life and career of figure skater Tonya Harding, with particular focus on her connection to the 1994 attack on Nancy Kerrigan, Harding's rival and Olympic teammate; it features interviews with the characters in mockumentary-style set in the modern day, as well as fourth wall breaking.

Alicia and I sit down and go through or best and worst TV shows of the year. We had some amazing TV series that the streaming services created and we really had a great time binge watching these series.  Unlike the theatrical movie releases, TV really created some serious well worth watching series. Some of these shows were international some were from smaller known creators.besttvshows2017.jpg

This second half of Hardwood & Endzones, Sean continue our conversation about the hiprocracy in sports and the way white supremacy is carried out covertly or intentionally.  Not that this has not been going on but Thanks to our love for Jemele we had to have a segment on her controversial Tweet.  You have to find humor when things seem so bleak.

This episode, we go around the horn with current sports news and some controversial topics that has been plaguing the NFL and our society. We revisit some issues and show respect to others that aren't normally part of the Hardwood and end zone  topics.
