Today Chaz and I  return to our financial series with revisiting plans we helped Jermey with on our last Financial episode.  The major long term goals we had Jermeey addressing were A new bank account, a credit card and what would be his new living arrangement (purchase and renting).  We get something totally unexpected but hold on to hope that our advice would not fall on deaf ears.

Spiderman Homecoming Review

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine - distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man - but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened

On this episode Alicia and I go to the late night showing of Spiderman Homing.  As part of our Comic book series, we switch from DC Comics to Marvel Comics.  With this teenager based movie, we prepare ourself for what we don't know what to expect.  The previews were fun but not  a go out and run to (Like the Black Panther trailer).

Amazon Echo new features, products and Whole Foods

This episode of Women Tech talk, Alicia and I go over the new calling features of the existing Amazon Echo devices as well as throw our opinions on the two new products Amazon has introduced to the market before Google or Apple had a chance to introduce any improvements or products during their conferences (Google I/O and Apples WWDC). Amazons new products are the Echo Look  a camera enabled device for fashion and the Echo Show that has a tablet size screen attached to it.   

We also put our two cents into the "Whole Foods" acquisition and what does it mean to the grocery market in the future. Whole Foods Market was acquired by Amazon June 16, 2017 at 13.7 billion dollars

 

NBA Trades 2017 III

The team returns for a final discussion of the NBA season and talk about the recent trades.  The still pending trades and How we think the East and the West will pan out for the upcoming season.  We revisit some of the cast predictions and observation

Jay Z 4:44 review

4:44 is the fourteenth studio album and thirteenth solo album by American rapper Jay-Z. It was released on June 30, 2017 through Roc Nation. The album is produced by No I.D. with additional production from Jay-Z, as well as James Blake and Dominic Maker on the album's physical bonus tracks. The album features guest appearances from Frank Ocean, Damian Marley, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's mother, Gloria Carter.

Anne De K Pinot Gris review

It can be served as aperitif or completes perfectly with salads and white meats like poultry and veal.

Healthy Eating while maintaining a budget

Today Chaz and I talk about the importance of healthy eating and working with a budget that would not kill your paycheck. We talk about bulk shopping (Sam's, Costco's, B.J's) and Organic buying with specialty markets (farmers markets, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Fresh Market).  With the fast pace of millineals in this era.  They need options in order to budget their paycheck, reduce the chance of getting sick and how do you add eating to your enjoyment.

Baby Driver Review (2017)

A talented, young getaway driver relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams, Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Alicia and I went to the movies on the basis of the great reviews for this movie and the star studded characters in the movie.  What we found out was this movie was filmed in Atlanta and O boy it was so cool to see Atlanta in its full form.

The Men of The "We Rise" Conference (WWC Atlanta)

On this episode Alicia as a member of Women who Code Atlanta, host a women's conference in Atlanta Georgia called We Rise Women in Tech Conference.  During this conference Alicia changes her interviews to the men who are speakers at the conferences and gets their view point about how they can help women and what are they are doing for women in tech.  This was a good opportunity to speak to a minority when women are the majority and men are the minority.
