"Get out" Review

Oooooo.....K.  This movie has been talked about and admired by almost every critic out there because of its outrageous turn of horror as it pertains to racism.  Jordan Peele turns the blind eye of liberals not address ing their own racist thoughts and desires into a black mans nightmare.  Satirical in many ways but revealing the underlined comments of white liberals that doesn't compare to the old time southern racism we are use to seeing on screen from the lets go back to the good ole days.  Here's our thoughts.

Voice activated personal assistants or intelligent personal assistant

This session we talk about the ever growing personal assistants trend.  There are many out on the market but the 3 major companies that stand out are Apple's Siri, Amazon's Alexa and Google assistant.  Sadly I have to throw in Microsoft Cortana too. With our hands on these 3 items, we give our 4 cents to the discussion of what we see as the leading candidate with this growing voice activating trend.

Our Oscars results

This Session Alicia and I give our feedback from the results of the Oscars.  Besides the surprise comical ending.  The results were almost what we thought it was going to be.  But was it what the  Post Trump (pro and Con) audience wanted it to be?  Lets see if you agree with our thoughts.

This session we sit down and talk to some Sneaker heads about their experience and passion in the sneaker game.  This isn't the full out obsession of sneakers that rule their everyday lives, but definitely a passion and a card carrying sneaker head. We sit and talk to some folks that will share their thoughts and history withthe sneaker game and talk to us about their love for these rubber soled gems

Financial Disfunction in the Black community

This week we have a special guest, Chaz Jenkins the founder of "Welcometothewall.com" Podcast/Blog.  We talk generational finance and savings and what can we do as a community to be come better.  Through our short and long life experiences, we share our experiences on issues we feel we can address as individuals.  With our difference in age and slightly different environments, we ask each other some of the hard questions and observations we have experienced.  We begin our money and financial education series on how we can speak to our communities and social circle to start a dialogue for improvement

​Today we review the amazing Isabelle Huppert play one of her greatest roles in the movie Elle.  The twist and deceptionin this movie is extraordinary and we go over them with more than  just a little enthusiasm.  Pretty good podcast to listen to.

Chrisette Michelle and the Black Community

This podcast we discuss the hot topic of Chrisette Michele and her controversial singing at Trumps inauguration.  Well actually just one of the functions of the day of inauguration.  As twisted as it sounds, our thoughts are she could have spun the situation in her favor if she didn't sing but she didn't,  and even now after she did sing she could have done some things to help her appeal.  We debate the issue as well as bring humor to a sad situation.

Moonlight Review

This is our last of the 3 Oscar nominated African American movies we wanted to see.  This story chronicles the story of a young man growing up in the drug populated area of Miami and we see how this child to a teenager then adult deals with coping with a dysfunctional family life and struggle to know who he is in this world as well as his own sexuality.  We talk about this amazing movie and talk about the other Oscar hopefuls.

Fences Review

Today we review the amazing movie directed by Denzel Washington "Fences" written by August Wilson that was a Tony winning Play  and Pulitzer Prize winner.  Alicia and I talk about the emotional movie that took us back to our family relationships and the intensity of the acting that left us captivated.  Absolutely a movie to go see.
