Hidden Figures Review

Today we talk about the very uplifting and empowering movie Hidden Figures (not Hidden Fences).  This is so much more of a movie than just 3 women working for NASA.  It really teaches you on so many levels that we had to talk about this.  I hope you get to see the movie if not, take a listen to what our observations are.

Three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world.

New Age, Neo Rock Hip Hop or What?

This episode we talk about a few  rappers/entertainers that are changing the sound of hip hop and is this just a phase that the distributors are allowing or is this a change that will be able to move Hip Hop to a different space.  These unique entertainers we talk about moves between rap, vocals and unique production to enhance their style and their personality.  Here's our thoughts

Insecure HBO finale review

This episode we finally get to finish the HBO series "Insecure".  We left off at episode 4 and we get all the way to the season finale.  We get into the battle of the sexist debate on who was wrong or right that has been flooding the internet as well as a little personal perspective into the conversation. Westworld Movie/HBO Series

This episode we talk about the weird weird series of Westworld.  We made the decision to see the Westworld movie by Michael Crichton right after completing the series.  We then talk about some of the comparisons and get into the HBO series that had most folks stumped.  Very very interesting series.  

Queen Sugar Season Finale series

This episode we talk about the episodes proceeding episode 3.  We talk about the characters and the how each of them brings a little something to the show.  Some times aggravating as hell.  Other times just a great feeling of being proud.  This is a series well worth seeing.

Tech Talk - Messaging stickers

This episode we talk about Apple's introduction to the new online messaging phenomenon Stickers.  We discuss the Asian influence in all of this. How the company Snapchat made the other tech industries have to look up and acknowledge what they are doing. We discuss some interesting facts about where its making a hit beyond the messaging application and how Google is trying to jump in as well.

This episode we talk about some tech news that has been floating around during this holiday season.  Internet traffic, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  We also get into the the new DirectV now app that is coming out November 30th for $39 dollars for 100 channels.  Sounds too good to be true right.  Well, you know there's a catch.

This episode is all about us and how we got here.  We go all the way back from high school to our current enterpenual activities of today.  You see where we are where we been and hopefully where we are going.  We wanted people to know a little of our background so you can see why we try to help as many people as possible as well as why we are still together for over 35 years.
