Upgrade 2018

Alicia and I decided on going to the movie and flipped a coin and went with the reviews to choose this independent move from the the "Blumhouse" producer.  This Sci Fi action horror film turned out to be a lot more than we expected.  A good to movie after overdosing on Marvel movies and star wars disappointments

Amazon Experience Centers (Cumming, Ga)

Alicia and I take a visit to this well advertised Amazon experience center where all the automated services we installed a year ago. Is being rolled out into to new homes.  The one exception is the home delivery options that is way too expensive to just have scheduled on a regular basis.

ANON - Netflix

I sit down and review this Netflix movie called Anon short for anonymous.  A sci-fi thriller i thought would be pretty interesting and very relative to the privacy issue going on the present day with almost everything.  We go back to an amazing writer who produces and directs his own stuff and I do a single review of this movie because Alicia fell asleep on it. 

  

In the near future, private memories are recorded and crime has almost ceased to exist. But in trying to solve a series of murders, troubled detective Sal Frieland stumbles upon a young woman known only as "The Girl." She has no identity, no history and is invisible to the cops. Sal realizes this may not be the end of crime, and it could be the beginning of it

LiL Baby: Harder than ever

We delve back into trap music and review LIL Baby's Harder than ever 17 track release.  Since we have heard so much coming from the trap music community as well as the folks from Quality Control. Sean throws this young rapper on the table to review and get a good listen too.  A freshman for 2018, so we wonder if he will be part of the XXL freshman class of 2018. 

Ocean's 8 movie review

So as we introduce our new logo and Podcast name together.  Alicia and I go out to see the female version of Ocean's 11.  Called Ocean's 8.  Led by Sandra Bullock, we watch this new movie with skepticism and hope that possibly a new franchise will emerge with these ladies leading the way.  With hopefully a female director next time.

Women in the Primaries and whats up with the Media?

The guys come back together to rant about the media not having the guts to ask the hard questions and why are they still fearful of their jobs at the Whitehouse?  We jump into the amazing pursuit by women to gain political office to make the changes instead of waiting for Change.

   

Royce da 5'9 : Book of Ryan

We return to reviewing R5 after being disappointed by the Pryhme release with Premier.  We open up this new release "Book of Ryan" and he takes us to some where we did not think he could.  We listened to so many artist spill their soul into their music but did not think it would be Royce adding to the quality of music being released. Stranger (Forest of Secrets) - Netflix (Korean tv series)

 

 

Prosecutor Hwang Si-mok who, as a child, lost the ability to feel empathy joins a police lieutenant to try to uncover the true identity of a serial killer. While looking into the case, he must fight rampant corruption within the police department that continuously undermines the investigation. Si-mok vows to find the perpetrator within two months, but rumors about his violent nature pop up and lead to questions about his ability to lead the case. He eventually sets out to meet the person who he believes is the real murderer.

Childish Gambino - This is America (Donald Glover)

Because of the hype and interpretation of Donald Glover's alter ego Childish Gambino.  We talk briefly about the newly released video "This is America".  One thing I didn't catch was the lyrics because it seemed like a lot of repetitive chorus.  But check out the lyrics here for"This is America" watch the video and follow along.
