Friday Nov 16, 2018
Sicily's premier grape Nero d'Avola is like Cabernet Sauvignon to California--the two go hand in hand. Nero d'Avola's bold flavors contrast the non-vintage wine's light red profile. Villa Amoroso's vibrant version offers flavors of blackberry, plum, sweet spice, and smoke, with a sultry finish. This is a wine for food lovers, especially beef dishes like stews, burgers, and even meatloaf.

La Petite Tour winery is a highlight of California’s wine scene, and this white blend, which was originally only made in small lots, has remained a favorite. Friday Sep 07, 2018
This next wine selected at our fine dinning restaurant (specialty restaurants) on the Royal Caribbean cruise line, was a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. When all else fails (price as well) You go with the old reliable. This time I had a dijon and white wine sauce on a delicious cod over veggies. A very decent pairing.

Thats where the wine conversation started. We started to break down which of the two types of wines were the healthiest to drink as well as what makes one healthier than the other. I took her advice and figured the info she gave me and my research would be something interesting to share. .
