November elections and the Democrats change in leadership

We roll into our next session about the state of the Democratic party and the Republican ability to sustain their messages.  Who will be the new Democratic leadership, who will be the presidential candidate and will the old guard step down and open the party up for new leadership.  We kinda end with quick news recap of the previous week.

This week we get a little Neo-soul and a little west coast rap harmonizing music that Sean and I get into this week.  A break from the named performers as well as familiar sounds out today.  A really good mixture and somewhat contrasting but pretty good releases for this year.  Strictly west coast this week.  We test each others perspective on these two artist.

 

Casillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva (Chile)

These next two wines  were selected at two fine dinning restaurants (specialty restaurants) on a Royal Caribbean cruise. With Chops supplying us with a beautifully cooked and seasoned Filet mignon.  I wanted a cross between a medium to heavy Cabernet and this one came through.

Which wine is the healthiest to drink

After speaking to my doctor about my blood pressure, my sugar intake, Cholesterol, and sodium levels.  But when she asked me about my weekly alcohol intake per week and what was I drinking. Thats where the wine conversation started.  We started to break down which of the two types of wines were the healthiest to drink as well as what makes one healthier than the other. I took her advice and figured the info she gave me and my research would be something interesting to share.  .

Sorry to bother you (the movie)

This independent movie made by rapper Boots Riley from the rap group "The Coup". Was something  Alicia and I saw previews on it and couldn't wait to see.  This strange and controversial movie is a strong commentary on labor and social interactions in our society today. It takes a turn towards the end but we left the theater with a good feeling about this creative well acted movie that critics are really ranting about.​​​​​​​

Drake new Release- "Scorpion" Side B

Sean and I get into the B side of the Scorpion double CD and jump into the R&B side.  Slowly moving from the hard rap side of A.  Drake slows it down in a true to form style that made him an international star we discuss this side and close out with his status for the year as best album or not

Named for a sun-like, fruit-bearing plant that grows in the southern Andes mountains.  2016 Nguilleu Sauvignon Blanc is grown in a cold weather climate in Chile, and steel-aged for a bright, tart, and ultimately refreshing feel. As big fans of the mission impossible series.  We always go see the maniacal Tom Cruise and what ridiculous stunts he will do in any of his movies.  Seeing the previews to this Alicia and I was sooo excited to see this movie just like it was a Marvel movie.  And with J.J Abrams being executive producer, We knew it would be a big blockbuster
