Episode 7: 2019 Audi E-tron car review

Today Alicia and I go to the Audi dealership in Duluth to check out the Audi E-tron SUV.  Alicia wanted to see and touch the vehicle because it was supposed to be one of the Tesla Killers.  I on the other hand wanted to see if it was just another SUV or something we would consider other than something from the Tesla fleet. 

Stranger Things Season 3

Once again a good day for binge watching got us to watch the entire 3rd season of Stranger things. Now, I read a few mixed reviews about this season, but for the most part I think most people had the same enthusiasm for a new season and what it would bring regardless.

 

 

Racial prejudice, Democratic Freshmen, Wanting to belong and group think to a detriment

We break off into the controversy of Trumps Tweets about the Freshmen democrats. We discuss why the GOP and certain people will support traditions, schools and what ever they feel makes them feel like they belong or part of sometime of group. Back to the R.Kelly, Michael Jackson condemnation. Did Mueller do the right thing?

 

ERYS & Willow - Jaden & Willow Smith

Sean and I wanted to review the Smith children since they both came out around the same time.  First we give our take on Willow and a style that we weren't expecting to hear.  Also since she is more of a veteran than her brother.  We didn't know what we would get.  Then we drop in Jaden.  He had a few releases after his well received debut album (for the record, those other releases I was not feeling) So for 2019 we get a listen to another one of these long ass releases with long ass 4 min. average songs. 

2019 Democratic presidential debates

The team debates how the candidates did at presidential debates for the democrats. We assess the front runners, the people who should drop off as well as the perception that women and many others are tired of the old white men running for office. Chaz goes with the comedian on stage analogy of who has the best new material that people can be gravitate to. Aaaaand what is it about Biden that is making people nervous?

Strawberry on the nose, nice light purplish red color. First impressions are slightly sweet, notes of vanilla and cherry. Low acidity, very smooth mouth feel.

Welcome to our first introduction to our YouTube show/podcast of our experience with being Black people owning a Tesla. It became an odd experience running in to people of multiple races asking how did you get a Tesla or why do you have a Tesla. So we decided to add this to part of our podcast network to answer questions and just talk about how owning this car and being part of the Tesla family has changed our life

  

Anna 2019

Not our regular movie to go see but when I heard this was a Luc Besson action film.  I was going to at least check it out.  This action thriller of a Russian model /assassin tries to get her life back by doing jobs that would get her out of the KGB but keeps caught up with the CIA and her KGB handlers.

X-MEN: Dark Phoenix

Sooooo, Alicia and I go to the last of the Marvel series for Fox.  The last of the X-men series.  regardless of the bad reviews, we wanted to see this Marvel movie and see if this would transition to the Disney MCU or will it be a closure of the X-men saga.  Again will we be watching a good closing of the series or will this be another throw away movie based on Fox not giving 2 F's now that they won't make any more money from it.

 

Is it closer to impeachment and wassup with the Democratic Candidates

This week the guys debate the new info coming out revealing the alleged wrong doing by the president as well as the criminality of everyone surrounding Trump.  we also discuss our assumptions of the democratic contenders for president.  Especially Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris that we seen recently on the talking heads show.
