With this episode Alicia wanted me to take the time and watch a movie that I was avoiding based on the sappiness of this love story. But because of the Golden Globe nominations, this critically acclaimed movie based on the comedian's real life, was something we had to see in order to compare the nominees on the list or what actors or actresses should have been nominated.

Kumail is a Pakistani comic who meets an American graduate student named Emily at one of his stand-up shows. As their relationship blossoms, he soon becomes worried about what his traditional Muslim parents will think of her.
