This week I start my series on wine Clubs/Subscriptions with a a company called "Bright Cellars".  A monthly wine club that caters to your taste with a very unique quiz that takes your data and suggests 4 quality wines.  Then after you have drunk a bottle or two and rate the wine you have drunk.  There is a new set of recommendations.  Here's what I got.

Today being stuck in the house, Alicia and I find the best African American (or Black, your preference) movies worth watching during your “Shelter in place” time. During this episode E brings up the sacred cow for Americans. College Football. What happens if we don’t have these big sports events. We also jump into how will businesses change how they will do business without the extra overhead and salaries, Will everything reset or will we just go back to the way we were?

I didn’t do a review of Tek’s highly enjoyable “allow it” released in 2018. I wasn't feeling the earlier  EP release Blood, but now with the release of Dweeb. The B’more native has been moving forward with his sound so I wanted to hear what this one would sound like. He goes a different route and flavors his multi layer tracks with more vocals, trap beats and for sure his signature synthesized sound. At the same time I ran into his group NASA 8 so I had to show some love this year.

    

 

Bordeaux, France- A great value, this crisp Sauvignon Blanc features flavors of grapefruit and melon and a light body. The wine comes from the area known as Entre-Deux-Mers, famous for its dry white wines and works perfectly as an aperitif or with seafood. France, Bordeaux

 

After seeing the first season of Altered Carbon. I was ver interested in seeing where the next season would go and If they even considered making another one. So what did Netflix give us. A second season and an Anime production. So, I debated if I should see both. I decided, What the Heck. I’ll see both. I was very disappointed with one of them.

The team returns with some perspective about the current conditions and how this pandemic will change the way we travel, the health care system, social gatherings, and the unintentional effect of cleaner air since there isn’t a lot of air traffic and road traffic of gas powered vehicles.

Elegant and rich but still bouncing with bright fruit, there's just something about Russian River Valley Pinot. "It has both subtlety and strength!".  Russian River is a tiny Sonoma AVA of Pinot paradise. With ever-changing levels of sun and fog 

 Today I sit down and watch the second season of Netflix original series Kingdom. I couldn't wait to see the second season for this and it was another 6 part series. Once again a great fantasy period piece. Also did I say their were running zombies in here?

Muscadet, Loire, France- What a bouquet! Vibrant aromas of lime, flowers, grapefruit, melon and fig in the bouquet. The palate follows the aromas with hints of red grapefruit and lime that finish with a refreshing crispness. 86 point rating
