The Umbrella Academy season 2

Alicia and I sit down to watch season 2 of this cleverly created and directed Netflix show.  Because there are so many superhero shows out, we didn’t expect the encore to be as good as the first season. 

On one day in 1989, 43 infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who creates the Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. In their teenage years, though, the family fractures and the team disbands. Fast forward to the present time, when the six surviving members of the clan reunite upon the news of Hargreeves' passing. They work together to solve a mystery surrounding their father's death,

Project Power (Netflix)

Some times we run into a movie everyone is checking out or happen to keep rotating into my Netflix queue. This one is a Jamie Foxx lead action thriller. A simple story line with an over zealous director. Is there action? Yes, is it thrilling? Here’s our thoughts.

Sports and politics, and the evictions moratorium

We flip from the basics politics of the day and talk about one of E’s favorite activity. Sports. So much of our everyday social and professional life circles around sports that we wanted to have a segment on it. We talk about school safety and the rent and mortgage moratorium.

     

House (Lupe Fiasco / Kaelin Ellis) EP

You should already know I’m a fan of Lupe. The last time I’ve heard anything from him was “Drogas Wave” in 2018. Very deep. and worth the listen just for the historic and spiritual side. But this EP attracted me because of the production by Kaelin Ellis which always grabs my attention. And of course the lyrical genius of Lupe. Outside of that take a listen to the commentary by Virgil Abloh as well. Pretty damn good.

Episode 20: Driving the Tesla Model Y (Part3)
