Friday Aug 11, 2017
This beautiful wine has aromas as ripe as dried figs, flavors as deep as blackberries falling off the vine. Four Vines Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel: big berry flavors, a hefty dusting of spice and zesty pepper are this Zin’s calling cards.

War for the planet of the Apes (review}

Wednesday Aug 09, 2017
In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
Alicia and I were excited to see the new movie from the new Planet of the ape series that are very very good. Its the prequel before the classic 1968 Planet of the apes movie with Charlton Heston. The emotional, exciting and very humanistic view of the movie is what keeps you engaged throughout this new edition of the series. It also fills in some gaps of the 1968 version. Worth seeing but here is our take.

Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva Review

Ruby red color with gold trim. Bright and deep. Complex aromas. Great balance between fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and clear tones from wood (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut). The sense of smell is even more intensified with the aromas that develop during aging in bottle. Smooth and balanced on the palate with a long and flavorful finish

Today Chaz and I return to our financial series with revisiting plans we helped Jermey with on our last Financial episode. The major long term goals we had Jermeey addressing were A new bank account, a credit card and what would be his new living arrangement (purchase and renting). We get something totally unexpected but hold on to hope that our advice would not fall on deaf ears.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine - distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man - but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened
On this episode Alicia and I go to the late night showing of Spiderman Homing. As part of our Comic book series, we switch from DC Comics to Marvel Comics. With this teenager based movie, we prepare ourself for what we don't know what to expect. The previews were fun but not a go out and run to (Like the Black Panther trailer).
